Now that the homo-ization of Hell's Kitchen has kicked into full gear, gay bars like this perky, pint-sized joint are popping up right and left. Sassy "Just Jack"-like bartenders serve up drinks around a u-shaped bar that screams "cruise central." If you're looking for a squalid Hell's Kitchen gay bar (a la Cats, the now defunct sleaze factory the neighborhood used to be so well known for), this is not your place. The scene at Chase HK (formerly known as Scandal), on the other hand, is all publicists in Richard Edwards and editors in Gene Meyer (augmented by the usual smattering of other varieties of queen...). — Charles Runnette
